Hillrock is home to some of the finest quality bourbon, single malt, and rye whiskey in America and is located in the heart of the Hudson Valley area. Catskill Distilling Company
Just minutes from the original Woodstock Festival site, the Catskill Distilling Company is crafting an impressive selection of spirits including whiskey, vodka and gin. During the tour, you'll view the micro distillery in action which includes a view of their "custom-made copper stills, the work of European master craftsmen—a work of art that serves as a backdrop to the tasting room". You can even taste their spirits while standing in a beautiful art deco bar that originated from the historic 1939 World's Fair.
Tours are everyday from noon to 5pm; also check their calendar of weekend events for cool performances that occur on-site.

Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery
Home of the award-winning "Hudson Whiskey", Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery is "New York's first whiskey distillery since prohibition" and continues to produce some of the best craft spirits in the country. As their website states, the visitor center "offers guests the opportunity to taste the collection of whiskeys, vodkas, gins, liqueurs, and other unique, handmade spirits. Tours illustrate how Tuthilltown’s spirits are made by hand, one batch at a time."
Tours are offered year round and can be scheduled online or by calling. They are held Saturdays & Sundays at 12pm to 5pm by the hour. Furthermore, there is a capacity of 20 people on each tour, so book in advance!

Captain Lawrence Brewing
New York is also home to some amazing breweries and the Captain Lawrence Brewing Company is one of them! Located close to New York City in Westchester County, Captain Lawrence produces a great range of all-year-round, seasonal, and specialty beers that are crafted to perfection. While visiting Captain Lawrence, "walk through with an experienced tour guide...and see everything from the 40 barrel brewhouse and 160 barrel fermentation tanks; to the brand new bottling and packaging line.
